Gears are like bank deposits—higher gears store speed, lower gears extract torque. Each level of *Gear Bank* gives you two resources: “RPM deposits” and “torque loans.” Driving in higher gears accumulates RPM interest, but climbing hills or exiting corners requires extracting torque (downshifting). Excessive extraction leads to “overdraft stall.”
Gameplay: You need to balance deposits and loans, avoiding engine stalling or rear wheel slippage caused by excessively low RPM (insufficient deposits) or excessive torque (excessive loans).
Skill Pack Details:
Deposit Interest Rate (RPM growth rate during high-gear cruising)
Loan Interest Rate (RPM cost of downshifting to extract torque)
Transfer Function (Converts a portion of RPM deposits into torque reserves)
Level Introduction:
Levels 100-300: Straight roads; learn about deposits and interest.
Levels 301-750: Intermittent hill climbs; require extracting loans. Levels 751-1450: Rapidly alternate between flat and inclines, repeatedly depositing and withdrawing.
Levels 1451-2500: Extremely long uphill climb (3km), deposits must be made in advance.
Levels 2501-3900: High-interest deposits are available on downhill sections, but quick withdrawals are needed on curves.
Levels 3901-5900: Interest rates fluctuate randomly, requiring strategy adjustments.
Levels 5901-8000: No deposit/loan display, rely solely on engine speed and sound.
