Drive along a narrow dirt road on the edge of an active volcano. The road surface constantly collapses due to geothermal activity, and toxic gas is intermittently emitted. Crater Edge requires you to avoid sinkholes while accelerating through the danger zone before a gas eruption.
Gameplay: Changes in ground color indicate collapses (darker areas are about to collapse). There will be slight tremors before a gas eruption; you must leave the area within 3 seconds of the tremors starting.
Skill Pack Details:
Geothermal Scan (Displays predicted collapse area over the next 5 seconds)
Poison Gas Timer (Displays remaining time until eruption in the current area)
Cooling Spray (Sprays water to cool tires and prevent them from melting)
Level Descriptions:
Levels 100-300: Collapses are rare, eruption intervals are long.
Levels 301-750: Collapses increase, requiring frequent lane changes.
Levels 751-1450: Eruption intervals shorten to 10 seconds.
Levels 1451-2500: Nighttime, relying solely on infrared thermal imaging.
Levels 2501-3900: Collapse prediction range narrows to 3 seconds.
Levels 3901-5900: Poison gas and collapses occur simultaneously.
Levels 5901-8000: No warning, relying entirely on immediate reaction.
